 Butter chicken masala

Ingredients

Chicken cut into pieces 500 gram

To marinate

Kashmir chilli powder 2 teaspoon

Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

Chicken masala 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder 1/2 tsp

Yogurt 250 ml

Oil 2 tablespoon

Salt to taste

Ginger paste 1/2 tsp

Garlic paste 1/2 tsp

Marinating.

Mix chicken pieces with all the above ingredients well and allow to marinate for an hour.

Grill or deep fry the marinates chicken pieces and keep aside.

Ingredients for gravy.

Chicken masala 2 teaspoon

Tomatoes chopped 2 nos

Onion sliced 2 nos

Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon

Cashew nuts 100 gram

Paprika powder 1 tablespoon

Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

Water 50 ml

Preparing the gravy

Put all the above ingredients in a mixer grinder and grind to a fine paste and keep aside.

Ingredients for cooking.

Butter/ghee 100 ml

Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspooon

Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon 

Coriander powder 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon

Fenugreek powder 1/4 teaspoon

Chicke masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

Ginger minced 1/2 teaspoon

Garlic minced 1/2 teaspoon

Milk 300 ml

Preparation

Heat 50 ml butter in a pan, add minced ginger and garlic and saute for two minutes.

Add Turmeric powder, chilli powder, Coriander, cumin chicken masala and fenugreek powder and mix well.

Add milk, chicken pieces , gravy paste and cook till the gravy reaches the desired consistency.

Add 50 ml. butter and take off from the stove.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
