Oats-banana muffins are tasty and healthy. Oats is supposed to be a healthy grain. To get its good results one must use the steel cut flakes without cooking, either soaking in milk or hot water or mixing with yoghurt or the like. Here we are baking it along with mashed bananas. As the oats flakes used here is whole grain it will bring its health benefits also.
Ingredients.
Oats flakes 250 grams.
Baking powder 1/2 Tablespoon.
Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon.
Cinnamon Powder 1/2 tsp.
Salt 1/4 tsp.
Grind the oats flakes using a mixer grinder and sieve it into a bowl. Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and salt and mix well and keep aside.
Bananas 2 nos.
Olive oil 100 ml.
Yoghurt 100 ml.
Eggs 2 nos.
Honey 2 tablespoons.
Raisins 50 gram.
Preparation.
Peel and mash the bananas in a bowl.
Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk it. slowly add olive oil and honey and whisk further. Now add yogurt and beat well.
Now add the flour mix bit by bit to the bowl using a sieve and mix together.
Now fill the batter in muffin forms and bake at 180°c in a preheated oven for 45 minutes.
