Tomato Chutney

Ingredients

Ripe Tomatoes chopped  1 cup (250 gm.)
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Green chillies chopped 2 nos
Scrapped coconut 200 gm
Garlic 4 cloves
Curry leaves chopped 1 sprig
Coriander leaves chopped 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation

Grind all the ingredients in a mixer grinder to a medium Consistency.

If you prefer you can fry some mustard seeds, chopped onions, red chillies and curry leaves and pour over the chutney. this gives a special aroma and taste to the chutney.

Serve with boiled rice, chapati, dosa, masaladosa usw.
