Carrot Payasam

Ingredients

Carrot peeled and chopped 500 gm

Milk 1 litre

Cardamom powder ¼ tsp

Cashew nuts 2 Tbsp

Sugar 500 gm

Salt a pinch

Preparation

Cook the carrots adding one cup of milk in a pressure cooker and allow to cool.

When cooled grind it into a fine paste using a mixer grinder.

Heat all the ingredients along with the carrot paste in a thick bottomed vessel till the required consistency is reached.

Remove from heat and serve.
