Fish thoran with banana 


Ingredients 


Fish (anchovy) 500 grams 
Ginger chopped 1 tablespoons 
Banana peeled, cut and sliced into small pieces 1 nos 
Garlic cloves finely chopped 1 tablespoons 
Onions finely sliced 1 large 
Coconut scrapped 1 cup (desiccated coconut 200 grams)
Green chillies split 5 nos 
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon 
Curry leaves 1 spring 
Salt to taste 
Vinegar or lemon juice 1 tablespoons 
Oil 2 tablespoons 


Preparing 


Mix all the ingredients except oil adding 100 millilitre water. If you are using desiccated coconut keep it aside.  And cook for 20-25 minutes.  Now add the desiccated coconut and oil and cook on lower heat stirring constantly for a further 10 minutes.  Serve with rice.
