Soya chunks cutlet
Ingredients
Soya chugs

Onion finely chopped

200 gm

Green chillies finely chopped

Ginger finely chopped

Garlic finely chopped

Potatoes (boiled, skinned and mashed)

2 large ones

Chilli powder

½ tsp

Meat masala powder

1 tsp
|
Turmeric powder
|
¼ tsp
|
Egg (beaten)
|
1 Nos
|
Salt
|
To taste
|
Curry leaves
|
1 spring
|
Bread crumbs
|
5 tbsp
|
Oil

To fry

Preparation
Cook the soya chugs adding water and enough
salt. When cooked mash the chunks. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add onions,
ginger, garlic, green chillies and saute till the onion is cooked and changes
colour. Add, masala powder and saute for a further 2 minutes stirring well and
remove from the heat and allow to cool. Now mix the mashed potatoes and the
mashed soya chunks to the onion masala mmix together. Form balls of the size of
small lemons. Dip each in the beaten eggs, and roll it in the bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a deep pan, and deep fry the soya chunks
cutlets till golden brown.
