Palak paneer (Andhra style)


Spinach-cheese curry

Ingredients

Spinach (washed, drain and chopp finely)
500 gm
Tomatoe
1 Nos chopped
Onion
1 Nos chopped
Green chillies
5 Nos chopped
Ginger (finely chopped)
a small piece
Garlic cloves
5 Nos
Paneer
250 gm
Oil
2 tbsp

 

Preparation

Cook spinach, ginger, chillies on low heat and take off from heat and allow to cool. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and onion and saute till its colour changes. Add tomato and stir well. Add the cooked spinach and salt and stir well and cook for a while at low heat. Add a little water if needed.

Cut paneer into stripes, fry in oil and mix with the spinach before serving or decorate the spinach with paneer cheese.
