Orange Cake with Orange Juice



Ingredients

All purpose flou  200 grams
Sugar 200 grams
Orange juice 50ml
Orange peelings 1 tbsp
Butter 150 grams
Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
Eggs 4 nos
Salt to taste

Preparation

Whip all the ingredients except baking powder and flour into a smooth batter.  Mix flour and baking powder and salt using a sieve and add it to the whipped ingredients and mix well to asmooth batter.

Grease or line the sides of a baking form, fill the batter in the baking form and bake for 40 minutes at 180 C in the oven.

The batter is enough for 25 small muffins.  The baking time for muffins is ca 15 minutes.

 

 

Jalfrezi is an Indian Curry with meat pieces or vegetable pieces in a thick fry.  The name has its origin from Chinese, Bengalese and Urdu languages.
