Olive bread


Ingredients for making olive bread

Whole wheat flour 3 cups
Yeast 10 gm
Sugar 2 tbsp
Olive oil 3 tbsp
Luke warm water 1 ¼ cup
Corn meal 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Chopped olive ½ cup

Preparation
Mix all the ingredients- flour, sugar, salt, yeast, olive oil, chopped olive and water together into a fine dough.  Knead the dough on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic.  Set aside in a bowl covering it with a wet kitchen cloth or linen for about one hour or until it reaches double its size.  Now push it down and knead it once more for 5-10 minutes and leave it to rise for about half an hour until the volume doubles.  Once more knead it down and once more allow to rise to double its size.
Preheat and oven to 2500 C and plce a vessel with water at the bottom of the oven.
Place the bread dough in an oiled baking tray and bake for 15 minutes and reduce heat to 1800C and bake for another 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool.
