Minced meat Curry


Ingredients

Minced meat
500 gm
Coriander powder
1 tbsp
Chilli powder
1 tsp
Onion chopped finely
½ cup
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Pepper powder
¼ tsp
Meat masala
1 tsp
Oil
2 tbsp
Ginger finely chopped
2 tsp
Garlic finely chopped
1 tsp
Green chillies (split into two)
5 Nos
Vinegar
1 tbsp
Potato (peeled and sliced)
2 Nos (½ cup)
Salt
To taste

 

Ingredients for seasoning

Oil
1 tbsp
Butter
1 tsp
Onion finely chopped
2 tbsp
Mustard seeds
1 tsp
Curry leaves
1 spring

 

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, saute chopped onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies till the onion reaches golden brown. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder and meat masala and mix well. Add the minced meat, mix well, add some water if need. Add potatoe pieces, vineagar, salt, mix together and cook on low heat covering the vessel with a lid till the potatoes are cooked well. Remove from heat.

For seasonging heat one tbsp. oil and one tsp butter in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter. Add the chopped onions and saute till colour changes. Add curry leaves, saute and when done add to the curry and mix well.

Serve warm with various bread preparations or rice preparations.
