Coconut
Macaroons with Almond flakes
Grated
coconut 1 cup
Condensed
milk 1 cup
Sugar 4
tablespoons
Egg whites
from 2 eggs
Vanilla
essence a few drops (or ¼ of a vanilla bean)
Almonds
flakes 5 tablespoons
Salt
Method of
preparation
Mix
desiccated coconut, condensed milk, vanilla essence, sugar and almond flakes
together.
Beat the
egg whites till foam is formed.
Gently fold
to the mixture.
Preheat
oven to 180 C.
Spread the
baking sheet over the baking tray.
Place each
a spoonful of the mixture on the baking sheet with a distance of 4 centimeters.
Bake for
20-25 minutes till the macaroons become crispy and golden brown.
