Banana Walnut cake

Ingredients for the icing
Butter
|
1 tbsp

Sugar powder

1 tbsp

Caramelized syrup

1 tbsp

Preparation
Whisk butter and sugar in a bowl till it
becomes creamy. Add the eggs one after another and whisk and mix well together
to a light foamy cream. Mash the banana and add to the bowl. Add flour,
buttermilk, cinnamon, crushed cardamom and nutmeg powder, walnuts and mix
gently to a fine batter.
Prepare baking tins, grease them with butter
ore line with parchment and pour the batter into them and flatten with a
spatula. Preheat the oven to 180 C and bake the cake for around 10 minutes.
Insert a clean knife or fork in the middle of the cake. If it comes out clean
the cake is cooked well. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
For the icing (glace) heat butter, sugar, salt
and syrup in a pan till all the ingredients are melted and dissolved together.
Pour the glace over the cake and distribute it evenly over the cake, allow to
cool.
Cut into pieces of desired size and serve.
