Vegetable cutlet with Kohlrabi
Ingredients
Kohlrabi (German Turnip or Turnip cabbage)

All-purpose flour

3 tbsp

Egg

2 Nos

Cheese (hard) – grated

50 gm
|
Mint, coriander leaves chopped
|
2 tbsp
|
Chilli powder
|
As per taste

Salt to taste

Bread crumbs as needed
|
|
Oil to fry
|
|
Preparation
Peel the Kohlrabi and slice it in 1-2 cm thick
pieces.
Put the eggs in a deep plate, add a bit of
salt and mix (whip) well.
Take 3 tbsp Bread crumbs in a flat plate, add
bread crumbs, grated cheese a bit of salt, chilli powder and the finely chopped
spice mix and combine well.
Take 3 tbsp all-purpose flour in a third
plate.
Now take each of the kohlrabi pieces and put
it in the all-purpose flour and cover it with flour. Then immerse it in egg and
then in the breadcrumb, cheese spice mix.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the kohlrabi pieces
in medium heat till golden brown. Then place them in a baking plate and bake at
150 C for 25 – 30 minutes. Serve with chutneys.
