Prawn Molee (Chemmeen Molee)


Ingredients

Prawns of medium size
200 gm
Garlic chopped
10 cloves
Ginger chopped
1 small piece
Onion chopped
4 Nos
Green chillies chopped
4 Nos
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Curry leaves
1 spring
Lime Juice
½ tsp
Coconut milk
200 ml
Mustard seeds
¼ tsp
Oil
2 tbsp

Preparation
Peel and clean the prawns. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter. Add onion, garlic, ginger, curry leaves, green chillies and curry leaves and sauté well. Add prawn salt and turmeric powder and stir well for 2-3 minutes. Pour coconut milk, reduce heat and allow to simmer till the prawns and cooked well. Mix the lime juice and remove from the heat. Serve hot.

Tips
If you will it hot increase the number of green chillies. Otherwise you may remove the seeds from green chillies before chopping them.
