Ingredients

All purpose flour
500 gm
Butter
250 gm
Sugar
400gm
Eggs
3 Nos
Baking powder
15 gm
Milk
200 gm
Cocoa powder
25 gm
Vanilla Essence
1 tsp

 

Preparation

Beat sugar and butter (at room temperature) in a mixing bowl into a fluffy paste. Add the eggs one after another and beat well. Mix baking powder and all purpose flour using a sieve and fold into the butter sugar paste. Add the milk and mix together. Keep ½ cup of the batter aside and pour the rest into a pre-fetted baking form. Mix cocoa powder with the batter kept aside and pour over the batter in the baking form in an S form.

Preheat oven at 180 C and bake our marble cake for about 1 hour.
