Butter Ada – neyyada (Malabar Kitchen)
Ingredients
All-purpose flour

Rice flour

Meat

Butter/ghee

Onion finely chopped

500 gm

Green chillies finely chopped

Meat masala

2 tsp

Turmeric powder

1 tsp

Curry leaves chopped

2 springs

Preparation
Cook the meat adding some salt and allow to
cool. Mince it using a mixer grinder and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan and sauté
onion, green chillies, curry leaves, add meat masala and turmeric powder. Add
the minced meat and mix well and keep aside.
Knead the all-purpose flour adding 2 tbsp.
butter and salt. Roll it into a ball and flatten it using a pin roller. Spread
some butter over it and sprinkle rice flour over it. Cut it into four equal
parts. Staple it one over another and flatten it using the pin roll. Cut it
into four equal sized pieces, place each a tablespoon of the onion meat mix,
fold them and cook each on athick bottomed pan turning on both sides.
