Chicken filled – Malabar
Style
Chicken – 2 Small ones
Eggs – 2 Nos Onions – sliced – 1 kg
Green chillies – 8 Nos
Ginger – finely chopped – 1 tbsp
Garlic – finely chopped – 1 tbsp
Tomatoes – 500 gm
Chilli powder – 3 tbs
turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Oil – 500 ml
Cashew nuts - 2 tbsp
Raisins – 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds power – ¼ tbs
Coriander leaves – chopped – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Preparation
Wash and dry the chicken both outside and inside
with a paper towel.
Boil the eggs, peel them and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté half of the onions
and a bit of salt, add cashew nuts and Raisins sauté a well and keep aside.
Stuff the chicken with egg and the sautéed
onions Raisins cashew nut mix. Make a paste using half of the chilli powder,
turmeric powder, garam masala and a bit salt and smear the chicken with it and

hour.
Meanwhile heat 2 tbsp. oil in a pan, sauté the
rest of chopped onions, add salt, green chillies, ginger, garlic and curry
leaves and sauté well. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala cumin powder
and chopped tomatoes and sauté well and keep aside.
Heat
oil in a deep pan and fry the chicken on all sides turning on all sides. When
done add the masala, onion, tomato mix and cook on low flame till done.
