Rice Powder
2 cups(Palappam podi)
Oil
2 Tbsp
Coconut scrapped
2 cup
Small Onion sliced
2 tbsp
Jeera (fennel seeds)
½ tsp
Water
3 cups
Salt
To taste



preparation
Grind the ingredients coconut. Jeera and onion to a paste. In a pan add water, oil and salt and bring to boil. Add coconut paste and rice powder constantly stirring till all the water is absorbed by the rice powder. Take off from the flame and leave to cool.
Make small balls with the paste. Roll each ball with chapatti sticks. Cut into round shape with a sharp-edged form or vessel.
Heat a shallow pan and cook pathiri turning it over till both sides are evenly cooked.
