Banana fry
Ingredients
Ripe banana (Plantain)

Maida flour
1 cup
Turmeric powder
¼ tsp
Sugar
2 tbsp
Salt
to taste
Water
½ cup
Oil
For frying

Preparation
Peel plantains, cut into two halves and slice each piece into two or three.
Mix flour, sugar, turmeric powder and a pinch salt with ½ cup water and make a smooth batter.
Heat oil in a deep pan, dip banana pieces in batter and fry till golden brown. Take out and spread on kitchen napkins to drain excess oil.
Serve hot with tea or coffee.
