Mushroom Tikka Masala

Ingredients

Mushrooms 250 gm.
Besan flour (green gram flour) 4 tbsp
All purpose flour 4 tbsp
Corn flour 4 tbsp
Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Onion chopped 2 nos.
Ginger chopped 2 tsp
Green chilies chopped 2 tsp
Garlic chopped 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped a small bunch
 Soya sauce 1 tbsp
Canola oil 2 tbsp
Salt as needed

Preparation

Clean and cut the mushrooms into two and keep aside.
Mix besan flour, all purpose flour, salt, chili powder and half of the corn flour into a fine batter adding enough water.
Heat oil in a pan, dip the mushrooms in the batter and fry them in oil till golden brown and keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan and add the chopped onions,garlic,green chilies, and ginger to the pan snd saute well.
Mix 2 tbsp cornflour with salt and some water and add to the pan. Add 1 tbsp soya sauce and the fried mushrooms to the pan and mix well together.
Remove from heat and serve garnishing the mushroom tikka masala with the chopped coriander leaves.
