Artichoke soup 
 
Ingredients 
 
Artichokes 500 gm. 
Potatoes 500 grams 
Onion 1 nos 
Butter 1 tbsp 
Milk 250 ml 
Salt to taste 
Pepper to taste 
 
Preparation  
Wash and slice the artichokes.  Peel and cut the potatoes into dices.  Chop the onions finely. 
Cook artichokes, potatoes and onions adding some water and salt till tender adding enough water, salt, pepper and butter.  Mash the cooked vegetables using a blender.  Heat milk in a sauce pan, add the mashed vegetables and boil it.  Add water if needed.  Add enough salt and pepper. 
 
Serve along with toasted bread.
