Fish Mango Curry
Ingredients
Fish ½ kg
(cut into pieces)
Unripe
mangoes 4 no’s (cut into small pieces)
Grated coconut
1 cup
Small onion
5 no’s
Ginger a
small pieceGarlic 4-5 cloves
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chilli powder 5 tsp
Green chillies 5 no’s
Curry leaves 1
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Preparation
Grind
grated coconut, red chilli powder, onion, ginger, and garlic to a thick paste.
Put the fish, mango slices, green chilli, curry leaves and the ground paste
into a pan and mix well. Add oil, salt and water to the pan. Now all the pieces
should be under water. Cook in mild heat till the gravy thickens.
Remove from
heat and serve hot with rice. Delicate with boiled tapioca or boiled potato.
